Nuevo álbum de Oasis en octubre

La banda de los hermanos Gallaguer ya ha bautizado el que será su próximo álbum con el título "Dig Out Your Soul" y ha marcado como fecha de publicación el 4 de octubre. El tema "The Schock Of The Lightning" será el single adelanto encargado de abrir el apetito en FMs. "Dig Out Your Soul" saldrá publicado bajo la Gallaguer-Label Big Brother y será el séptimo trabajo de estudio de la banda. Al igual que pasara con el álbum anterior "Don't Believe The Truth", la producción ha corrido a cargo de Dave Sardy.
Sobre el proceso de grabación, Noel comenta: "I wanted to write music that had a groove; not songs that followed that traditional pattern of verse, chorus and middle eight. I wanted a sound that was more hypnotic; more driving. Songs that would draw you in, in a different way. Songs that you would maybe have to connect to – to feel."
Respecto a la elección del primer single, Noel prosigue: "If 'The Shock Of The Lightning' sounds instant and compelling to you, it's because it was written dead fast. And recorded dead fast. 'The Shock of The Lightning' basically is the demo. And it has retained its energy. And there’s a lot to be said for that, I think. The first time you record something is always the best."
